About fatty liver
Glance at the growing shapes of many young people across the country, you may find the problem. Trunkle Obesity: expanding waste lines that can lead to fatty livers, which, if unchecked, can lead to much worse.

At Maine Endwell High School, Local school systems are trying to combat inactivity and obesity in young people. Campus menu selections are being altered.

Rather than have french fries every friday, why not go to a salad bar set up or something like that. In fact, every night when you cant get home to have dinner at the dinner table you go out to McDonald's or Burger King and have rich fatty stuff.
At Binghamton University, students told us just how hard it is to stay away from fattening foods:

"McDonalds, Wendys, KFC. There's nothing really much else to eat as a college student. I can't really get my parents to cook me something healthy so I always end up eating fast food when im hungry," says Rickey Lu, a student at Binghamton.

"You can get liver enzyme abnormalities just from eating fast foods two or three times a week even without going to the full stage of fatty liver and that's pretty amazing if you think about it, because we have all probably done that in college when you don't have enough time to go home and cook or go to the dining hall. You just grab something quick," says Hassig.
