Presidio Pharmaceuticals Inc. signed a hepatitis C research deal with Numerate Inc.

San Francisco-based Presidio and San Bruno-based Numerate will work together on treatments for hepatitis C using Numerate's drug creation technology.

The companies didn't give financial or technical details of the collaboration.

Guido Lanza is president and CEO of Numerate. He worked previously at Pharmix and was a researcher at Stanford University.
